Family of four: Two teenagers = 5 devices Wife = 2 devices Me = 3 devices which at any given time theyre 6 devices logged onto wifi, easily, not to mention Netflix. My service/router gets a workout but I noticed after my wife cancelled our home phone service (switched to voip) that our service noticeably slowed. Other than my disappointed attempts to report the slowness to the provider I became frustrated, needed a tool to rely on. After downloading this App I was indeed not at the speed Im paying for. I phoned during the day (standard business hours) used this tool to back up my failed attempts to show evidence that my location speed is not nowhere near what Im paying for and only after going through this was my house back to a better internet experience. Clean interface, super simple to use and like the data captured and look back. Thank you.

An excellent app for Internet lovers who have slow internet

Speedtest is an absolutely essential app for everyone. Why? You can check the speed of your internet connection. This is really helpful to figure out if it is faster for instance to upload a photo over wifi or 4G. You can also check periodically what your speeds are like on your 3G or 4G network to see if you need to switch to a different carrier. You can also check the speed of your internet while using a VPN. You can check if your connection is just slow or something isnt actually working correctly. You get the idea...

you just have to have an app like this one to make the most of your internet devices. You can also make sure youre getting what your provider has promised you in download and uploads speeds. I paid for ad free to support the developers but the ads arent too obnoxious in free version. It never seems to find closest server but easily fixed in settings.

Rock solid app. Used it for many years. Keeps AT&T on their toes. They do throttle back to handle mote customers. Cant throttle back. They drop your calls or drop u off the internet. Frequent problem now a days. Try this app

App shows my internet speed as 60 if i check on my computer it shows 80. Not sure why is the difference. It used to be spot on.

I use the app on a daily basis at work. When the service is higher than 200Mb, the app doesnt give an accurate speed test. I test on my Mac and I get 500-600 Megs using the website. When I check using the app on my IPhone 6S or iPad, the test cuts off at around 200Mb on the downstream.

I rely on this to make sure my internet provider is honest and so far it helped me alot!

Im collecting data and going to hit my ISP up with details when I have a couple of days worth because my download speed is a measly 1 mbs!

My internet provider suggest this and when I encountered bad readings from this app I no longer wish to use this highly incapable app! The readings is wrong recently I contacted this app support through email and I havent got any response guess what NONE OF MY DEVICES WOULD NEVER USE THIS WORTHLESS APP

Its hard to rave too much about a one-trick pony, but it does what they say it does, consistently. Ive been using it for years, and Im impressed by the frequent updates. I should note that the ads are not at all intrusive on the free app, but maybe Ill upgrade to the ridiculously cheap premium version anyway because it now strikes me as incredibly miserly not to do so.

Fast efficient and accurate and does everything it claims to do

Clicking "app support" takes user to question and answer web page with NO info about reporting problem.

Really nice change of pace to download an app for a specific purpose and have the app fulfill that purpose without any dumb UI/UX elements that get in the way.
